Although I have not read anything lately, I'm going to recommend a classic novel The Great Gatsby.
I like this book because of the social context in which was written. Set in the early twenties during the Jazz Age New York. Also known as the most raucous and gaudy era in U.S. history.
The Great Gatsby was written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and published in 1925 by Charles Scribner's Sons.
The novel is about a tragic story of Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, and his passion and obsession to reunite with his ex-lover, Daisy Buchanan.
The story explores topics of wealth, class, love and idealism. From the outside, the main character, Jay Gatsby, proof of the American dream of the 1920s New York elite. He is a man of humble origins who accumulated vast wealth. However, his humble background makes him remains an outsider in the eyes of elite society.
To sum up, the book suggests that wealth accumulation does not guarantee a good life neither class mobility.
I totally recommend the book because it seems nothing has changed from that time to nowadays.

Hi miss, I'm Cristina, The great Gatsby story is very interesting, I read not the book but I watched the movie based in the book and was a very good experiencie, Jay Gatsby in the movie is Leo di Caprio, I liked his performance.
